free writing

Last weekend was Mother’s Day, and I went back to Taichung to celebrate it with my family. We bought a cake secretly planning to give my mother a surprise, but clever as she was, she found out soon. Later that day, we went to a nice restaurant to have a dinner together. After the meal, the waiter took out the cake with shimmering candles on the top. In the dark, the whole family, the waiters of the restaurant, and even customers sitting at the nearby table clapped together. Even though my mother had already found out our plan, she was so moved that she couldn’t help crying. When I went to university, I know the importance of family. Of course, at first, I still sock in the freedom and went home seldom, but when I clam down I suddenly realize that family are the biggest supports and my closest friends. I could always share my feelings , rely on them with a hundred percent trust. I know I am a grown up now, and it’s time for me to learn to be independent, but there’s something invisible binding us closely that can not to be departed. Sometimes I will tried to wonder how it will be if I live in the world without them, and that night I will dream some nightmare. Obviously, there’s no doubt that I can not leave them. I love them so much, and cherish the memory with them.

Place I want to go --- Swiddish

The other place I want to go is Swiddsh. Because friends told me that it's really beautiful there, and they even showed me the whole set of photos they took in Swiddish.
I want to see the spectacular lights there, and the galciers.
What interests me most is the ice hotel. Every year, they build the hotel once again. In the hotel, everything is made of ice, including beds, pillows, cups, tables, chandeliers, and lamps. You may think that people must be frozen staying in the ice hotel, but as thoughtful as them, they provide hot spring service outdoor. As long as you write down your name and the room number you are staying in, you can get a huge wooden tub and clean hot towels. You can look at the spectacular lanscape while enjoying the comfortable bath.
There are still many other places I would like to visit, and I will discuss them in my next article, so just look forward to it!!!

The Forbidden Kingdom

I went to this movie last weekend after school, and I ate at Friday for supper.
(As i typed this sentence, my keyboard fell down , and it scared me extremely.)
In the beginning, I had interests in this movie only because of the cast. The Forbidden Kingdom starred Jackie Chen, Jet Lee, Yi-Fi Liu, and Bing- Bing Lee, and I really like the two actresses in the film. I didn't spend any time figuring out what the movie was talking about before I bought the tickets, and this rarely happens to me.
Fortunately, the movie didn't let me down, and I think it was really good! The story started in a Chinatown in the U.S. A gang violently rubbed money from an Chinese old man, who got shot after he hit the gangster from behind. Before he fainted away, he gave a golden stick to an American teenager and told him to return it to the true master of it. To escape from the gangster, the teenager accidentally fell down from the roof of a tall building and returned to the acient China.
He met Jackie Chen, Jet Lee, and Yi-Fi Liu on his way, and the four of them teamed up on the search of the bad king. Jackie Chen and Jet Lee taught him lots of kung-fu on the way, and he became strong. After really hard efforts, they finally arrived at the palace which the bad king lived, where they killed the king together and returned the golden stick to its true master.
The mission done, he returned to where he came from with the help of the god, and the time hasn't pass at all. The only thing which has been changed was that he already learned lots of kung-fu, so he fought away the gangster and saved the old man's live.
Although I could predict the ending since the beginning, I still considered it an excellent film!!!

Going Aboard

I went to Taipei and had dinner with an old friend who studies in National Taiwan University now. We used to be best friend in junior high school and high school, however, after we both entered college, we found that there wasn't enough time for us to keep in touch with each other as often as we thought it should be.
We decided to fo aboard this summer vacation, and this was a dream unfinished duing last summer vacation. We only went to Taipei for three days last summer, because we thought that we would not be so interested in traveling in Taipei after college, after all, both of us study in Taipei and are familiar with it now. This turned out to be the wise choise, but in that way, we lost out chances to go aboard.
Thus, we want to finish our dream this summer, and we decided to go to Australia and New Zealand in the middle of July. I am looking forward to it NOW !!!
